CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND PROCESS DEVELOPMENT DIVISION
Qualification & Experience : Ist class M.Sc (Chemistry) or equivalent qualification with at least three years of relevant
experience or Ph.D in Chemistry with one-year experience from reputed institutions.
Experience : The candidate should have research experience in the area of surface and materials chemistry, especially at
the interphase of chemistry and biology. Exposure to modern analytical techniques for biomolecule separation and
characterization of surfaces.
Job Requirements: The selected candidate will work in an interdisciplinary team at the interphase of material science and
biology focused on self assembled surfaces, design of biosensors and separation of biomolecules.
(2) CODE NO. 03 : CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND PROCESS DEVELOPMENT DIVISION
Qualification & Experience : M. Tech in Chemical Engineering with at least two years of relevant experience OR Ph.D in
Chemical Engineering from reputed institutions.
Experience : The candidate should have research experience in the area of rheology and dynamics of complex fluids, flow
through porous media, dynamics of behaviour of materials fluid mixing and thermodynamics.
Job Requirements: The selected candidate will work in an interdisciplinary team at the interphase of chemical
engineering and complex fluids/polymer science focused on rheology, mixing and thermodynamics.
(3) CODE NO. 04 : PHYSICAL & MATERIALS CHEMISTRY DIVISION
Qualification & Experience : 1st Class M.Sc (Chemistry) or equivalent qualification with at least three years of relevant
experience OR Ph.D in Chemistry with one year experience from reputed institutions.
Experience : The candidate should have research experience in heterogeneous catalysis and electro catalysis related to
hydrogen generation and conversion of hydrogen to energy;
Job Requirements: The selected candidate will work in the area of fuel cell materials and systems as well as generation
of hydrogen using catalytic processes.
(4) CODE NO. 05 : PHYSICAL & MATERIALS CHEMISTRY DIVISION
Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc (Chemistry) or equivalent qualification with at least three years of relevant experience OR
Ph.D in chemistry with one year experience from reputed institutions.
Experience : The candidate should have research experience in computational chemistry to probe heterogeneous and
homogeneous catalysts; development of kinetic models and structure activity relationship.
Job Requirements: The selected candidate will work in an interdisciplinary team at the interphase of computational
science and heterogeneous/homogeneous catalyst focused on applications of advanced computational tools for the study
of mechanisms and design of novel catalytic materials.
