Position : Clerical cadre
Pay-Scale : Rs.4410 – Rs.13210

Eligibility :Candidates interested to apply for clerk jobs in SBI must satisfy the below criteria,

* Age limit : 18 yrs – 28 yrs as on 01 Nov 2009
* Should have completed 12th std or equivalent qualification with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/)
OR
* Should have a Degree issued by a recognised university with minimum of 40% marks (35% for SC/ST)
Diploma holders : Candidates who opted for Diploma after 10th std are also eligible to apply,provided the Diploma course is full time,minimum 2 years of duration & must be approved by State Board of Technical Education.Read more on checking your eligibility.

Application Process : The application fees of Rs.250(General) or Rs.50(SC/ST) has to be paid in any of the State Bank of India branches on or before the 12.09.2009 & request a receipt of payment made.
After payment,logon to SBI website, statebankofindia.com or sbi.co.in & Apply online between August 1st 2009 to September 15th 2009 only.The branch code number,journal number have to be specified in the online application.
