How does a teenager raise money in Dubai?
If you’re living in Dubai, you would know how hard it is for us teenagers to get jobs, with enough indians and Filipinos around, no shops need help or employees. Me and my friends are trying to raise money, and we don’t know how. We tried washing cars for the neighborhood, but they all have maids that get the job done, we tried to have garage sales but no one was interested.
Please help!

I have two teenage sons who have the same problem. Good that you are trying to find work and I agree with the difficulties you’ve mentioned in your post.
I’m not sure what the labor laws are here in terms of minimum age to work (probably are not any labor laws in that respect) Why not try your Embassy – explain that you are trying to find part time work – they may be able to direct you to someone through the Chamber of Commerce who may be able to help. Hotels may have something for you as well – if you present yourself to the person in charge and show that you are eager and willing to work you may be surprised at the result. I guess the next problem is a work visa…
Good luck – its a tough situation – but you really do need the work experiance.
