This University, formerly a part of the Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, became a separate entity on 1 August 1987. Educational Qualification: 1. An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. 2. A minimum of 10 years of teaching/research/extension education experience of which at least 3 years should have been spent as Assoc. Prof. at an AGP of Rs. 9000/- or in equivalent position in University/college, and/or National level institutions including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level. 3. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technologymediated teaching learning process. 4. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in Univ. Regulation
Associate Professor

Educational Qualification: 1. A consistently good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline. 2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/ research and/or extension education as Asstt. Prof. of which at least 4 years should have been spent at an AGP of Rs. 7000/- or equivalent position in a University/ College or Accredited Research Institution (excluding the period spent in Ph.D. research subject to a maximum of 3 years) with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. 3. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates at doctoral and master level. 4. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in Univ. Regulation.
Programme Coordinator

Pay Scale: Rs15600-39100 with AGP Rs.8000
Educational Qualification: Doctoral degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Science/Fisheries including relevant basic sciences with 04 (four) year experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500 having made contribution to Research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations. OR Alternate Qualifications: Doctoral degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 04 (four) years experience of high quality post doctoral research in an institution of repute, evidenced by publications in high impact/renowned journals.
Desirable: Five years experience of working in extension education programme.
Candidates should enclose service certificates in support of their claims of possessing
experience. These certificates should be obtained from the concerned employer and should specify job description of the candidates.

Assistant Professor

Educational Qualification: 1. A consistently good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade of 6.5/10.0 or 3.2/4.0 in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. 2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR/ASRB in the concerned or relevant subject or similar test accredited by the UGC/CSIR/ASRB etc.
Desirable: Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject
