MIS Operation Manager Job

•In-Charge for division resources planning and budgeting.

Sr Pilot Engineer – Takreer Research Centre Job – Takreer

Basic Function:

- Coordinates and supervises on the pilot plant operation of diversified and critical in a safe and efficient manner to ensure smooth operations.

- Coordinates periodic checks, adjustments and maintains follow-up on all maintenance activities in pilot plants.

- Conducts studies and evaluations of new technologies on pilot plant and catalyst to contribute to TAKREER’s operation and research & development

- Develops new catalyst testing methods by cooperating with catalyst researchers, research institutions and catalyst suppliers.

Carries out research activities on new catalyst development with cooperation of catalyst researchers and other international research institutions.

- Maintain research activities on new technology within and without TTC.

- Coordinates with catalyst researcher to conduct Test Runs, tests new catalyst and implements changes in pilot plant if necessary.

Provides functional assistance to pilot plant in test-checking alternatives, diagnosing process and corrosion problems and preparing technical specifications of operating chemicals and materials.

- Performs a variety of process engineering duties for pilot plant. Includes monitoring performance of pilot plants and facilities, preparing performance summary and recommending corrective actions to deal with abnormalities.

- Collects the state of art of information of the most advanced technologies and equipments and applies them to refineries and TTC.

- Prepares and participate actively to present technical papers to various conferences and scientific societies and exhibitions together with the catalysis team in TTC

- Constructs network with the academic group of people in?the petroleum and refinery sectors, and Universities research institutes, etc.

- Works actively on accumulation of technical databases within and without TAKREER

- Actively be involved in witnessing facility and site acceptance test runs for all pilot plant units.

- Provides technical expertise for effective and optimized operation of pilot plant units.

- Cooperate and coordinates with catalyst researcher, process engineers, analysis & test staffs for pilot operation.

- Provides technical expertise for design and development for new pilot plant units.

- Supervises plant start-ups, shutdowns and emergencies of pilot plant as per the established procedures.

- Performs the assistance on activities of process engineering and catalyst research.

Provide support to develop technical specifications for new pilot plants.

- Reviews and approves the design and engineering works performed by suppliers and/or contractors of pilot plants.

- Completes shift supervisor log book and other work reports noting state of pilot plants, corrective action taken and highlighting other items of pilot plant that need further attention.

- Reviews/comments/approves PFD & P&ID, Datasheets, technical documents, technical specifications, standards, technical evaluation report and award recommendation prepared by suppliers and/or contractors of pilot plants.

- Performs design & engineering works for new pilot plants.
