EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (2 Nos)

Key Responsibilities: Should be able to handle the major medical equipments. Carry out Primary and Secondary survey of pt. with the view to arriving at a provisional diagnosis. Based upon the provisional diagnosis, accurately define the transport priority of pt. and formulate a priority based plan. Establish and maintain open airway using basic methods and provide adequate pulmonary ventilation. Be capable of taking the leadership role at any and all incidents. Complete verbal and written communications. Carry out Procedure for the checking and maintenance of Ambulance Equipment and ensure proper function for treatment.

FLIGHT PARAMEDICS

Category : Medical Location : Dubai
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for providing care for patients requiring transport from a referring health care facility to a secondary/tertiary health care center, or from homes to homes, rehab centers. Performing medical procedures in accordance with medical service policies and procedures manual, medical protocols manual, along with other related duties. Must possess a valid Registered Nursing License or valid Paramedic with no conditions/restrictions, as well as current ACLS, and current CPR. Must possess experience in emergency and/or ICU. Paramedics no less than 3 years active full time employment in a ALS ambulance service, previous flight experience is a plus. Previous flight nurse, or pre-hospital ambulance experience, BLS or ALS level would be an asset. Foreign Languages a plus. Must be a strong independent thinker, problem solver, and willing to make critical decisions quickly and decisively. Additionally, must be willing to obtain necessary immunizations required by foreign governments for entry into their countries

The post involves teaching of undergraduate students of the medical and nursing schools and other schools as they become established.

The hospital service element is to provide laboratory / diagnostic service in the Bahrain Defense Forces Hospital.
