State Bank of India, Corporate Centre, Mumbai invites applications from Indian citizens for engagement on contractual basis in the positions of officers – Marketing and
Recovery (Rural) –S1 & Technical Officer (Farm Sector) – S1 in State Bank of India.
RECRUITMENT OF POSITIONS FOR OFFICERS – MARKETING AND RECOVERY (RURAL) -S1 & TECHNICAL OFFICER (FARM SECTOR) – S1 IN SBI
(CONTRACTUAL BASIS)
State Bank of India (SBI), Corporate Centre, Mumbai invites applications from young, aspiring and dynamic Indian citizens for appointment in following posts in State Bank in Middle Management Level :
Officers – Marketing and Recovery (Rural) – S1:
Compensation package
Rs. 2.80 lac p.a. on CTC (Bank) of which 70% will be fixed pay and 30% will be variable pay.
Role : Identifying and targeting Opportunity : Marketing and lead generation, identifying
product needs.
Continuous business building : Continuous village visits and relationships with customers,
build robust information database, support MRO to get high-value accounts & interact with the
CPC for processing of the proposal sourced, serve as Relationship Manager to HNI customers.
Lending and recovery process : Pre-sanction survey, application filling, papers / documents
verifications, parking of loan in nearest Branch (other than G.S.S.), recommendations to BM for
loan sanction, loan monitoring, follow up & its recovery.
Responsibility: Overall achievement of business targets for entire Marketing and Recovery team
Eligibility Criteria :
i) As on 31.07.2009,the Candidate should be a Graduate in Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries,
Dairy, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Pharmacy etc., from a recognized University
with minimum 70% Marks (65% for SC, ST and PH candidates)
or
Graduates in the following streams- BBA, Social Work, Social Welfare, Graduates with
specialisation in marketing with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC, ST & PH Candidates) or
MBA with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC, ST & PH Candidates)
ii) As on 01.04.2009 the candidates should be minimum of 23 years of age and maximum 32
years (Relaxation in upper age limit to reserved category candidates as per Govt. guidelines).
iii) Candidates must have fluency (read, write and speak) in the local language of the State
where he is likely to be posted.
iv) Candidate should have a valid permanent driving license for 2 wheelers.
v) Minimum 3 years experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank in the field of marketing of
agricultural & other loans & recovery of NPA.
vi) Candidate should be willing to work in the rural areas for a contractual period of 2 years and
should also be ready to join the job at a short notice. Work involves extensive travelling.

Attested copies of caste/community certificate, where applicable, MUST accompany the
application. The candidates will have to produce their original caste certificate/relevant
certificate before the interview takes place, failing which his/her candidature shall be
cancelled and he/ she will not be admitted for interview.
* Management Executives (MMGS-II) : 500 posts (SC-75, ST-37, OBC-135, UR-253) (PWD-15), Pay : in MMGS-II Pay Scale Rs.13820-19920, Age : 21-30 years as on 01/08/09, Qualification : Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Business Administration, Business Management, Systems, HR etc. or (ii) M.Com. or (iii) MA/ M.Sc. in Economics or MA/ M.Sc. in Statistics or (iv) CA/ ICWA/ CFA/ CS with 55% ( 50% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate marks in Graduation and Post Graduation and 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD) minimum marks in class Class XII (12th)
Written test for the Management Executive posts will be conducted on 13/09/2009.
Application Fee : Candidates are required to go to any Branch of State Bank of India and pay Rs.250/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PH) for prescribed fees/postage charges and get receipt from the branch as per prescribed voucher.
Candidates should have a valid e-mail ID ii) Eligible candidate should visit any CBS branch
of State Bank of India & pay the requisite fee / Postage into the A/c 30783079351 and get
receipt with Deposit Journal Number from the branch. iii) Application should be neatly typed
or handwritten in English or Hindi on a fullscape size paper in the format given at the end of
the advertisement. A recent passport size photograph bearing full signature of the candidate
across the same with date, should be pasted at the right hand top corner at the space
provided in the application. The application should be sent along with the original cash
deposit receipt bearing Deposit Journal Number (Candidates copy) & attested copies of
certificates/testimonials/ medical certificates to Post Box No. 7452, Jogeshwari (East),
Mumbai – 400 060 by ordinary post. Application in any other form will not be entertained.
iv) Last date for cash deposit will be 18.7.2009. Application received after the above dates
will be rejected. Cash deposited will neither be refunded nor be adjusted against any
project. v) Candidates will be required to fill their email ID and Cash Deposit Journal number
correctly.
