As CFO and a member of the Executive Board, you will play a key strategic role in the development of the organisation and delivery of a first class finance and information systems infrastructure. You will lead the Finance Division to ensure that finance and resource planning supports a well-established and ambitious organisation.

About the Firm:

The firm is an independent wealth manager providing our investor institutions and families with a comprehensive and focused range of asset management and wealth advisory services. With offices in London and Dubai, the firm is the advisor to a number of leading regional institutions and family groups – helping them to address a range of challenges to the growth and preservation of their assets. The firm’s UK operating subsidiary, is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Services Authority. We are looking for a mid-level trust sales banker to be based in Dubai who, after an initial training period of approximately two months in London, will assist in the client calls and sales process in respect of the firm’s existing clients and new prospects.

About the role:

Responsibilities include:
1.         Marketing Wealth Advisory and Fiduciary Services to feed high quality business back into the administrative unit of the firm in London where documentation will be prepared for execution by the clients.
2.         Ensuring that the documentation is executed accurately and in a timely fashion.
3.         Engaging with both clients and other members of the team and participating in the regular investment meetings and client meetings.
4.        Using the Fiduciary Services product range consisting of simple Personal Investment Companies (“PIC’s”) and PIC and trust combinations as a tool to provide solutions to the client base and grow the investment management business of the firm.
5.         Initially to accompany senior managers on sales calls to promote Fiduciary Services and also broader business development meetings with new and existing clients; it is expected that this person will be able to develop quickly into a lead role in these functions.
6.         The candidate will ensure up-to-date awareness of (and will comply with) all relevant regulations and legislation affecting investment.

The Candidate

The successful candidate:
1.         A graduate who has a proven track record in Private Banking, (preferably Private Client/Institutional Investment Management/Trust sales), offering a range of private client services outside of the UK.
2.         A sound knowledge of the application of Trust and Fiduciary Services in the private client market with an ability to articulate the benefits of such legal vehicles.
3.         A reasonable understanding of the investment portfolio management process and an appreciation of how securities markets operate within the current environment.
4.         An understanding of the fiduciary product range consisting of simple Personal Investment Companies (“PIC’s”) and PIC and trust combinations
5.         A basic understanding of the operation and set up of family offices would also be helpful.
