Job Description

-          Lead the development of all cost estimates in support of RFP’s/RFQ’s pursued by the company.

-          Submit the final cost proposal for approval in a timely manner in accordance with the respective RFP.

-          Preparation of cost comparisons between existing goods and services.

-          Calculating benchmarks for all prices.

-          Interact closely with other departments to gather information and ensure accuracy of estimates.

-          Work closely with central purchasing department to establish a costing database in support of future estimates.

-          Ad-hoc reports as requested by the FD

-          Assist in the bidding process for new businesses

-          Regular visits of the branches.

Contact possible vendors for RFQ’s in support of the estimates when need be

-          Knowledge of government contracting as well as experience working with multiple government agencies.

-          Knowledge in estimating base life support services to included facility management and maintenance.

-          Knowledge of government estimating processes and procedures.

-          Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and 5 years directly related experience is required.

Professional Accounting Qualification desired. Basic Accounting Knowledge a must
