ENGINEERING&CONSTRUCTION – Contracts Manager – Qatar – QR 50,000 +
An exclusive opportunity to work with one of the leading wholesale distributor, solutions and service providers has become available in their Engineering & Construction division for an exceptional Contracts Manager.
Primarily responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, preparing responses to proposals, bids, and contract modifications, preparation of complex request for proposals, analysis of contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions, provide contractual guidance to team members, manages change control process, develops negotiation strategy and be part of the negotiation team on complex contractual issues. A solid understanding of contract administration rules and regulations is essential to ensure that contract procurement is strategic in nature, expedient and results in high quality / cost effective network.
The ideal candidate should posses a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Law/Quantity Surveying with 15 years of professional experience and ideally the candidate should be a native English Speakers with experience working on the Mega Development Projects in the GCC Region

Our client is the leading system integrator in Qatar and is committed to offering incorporated low-current systems .The company specializes in Audiovisual, Security, Control, Fire, Lighting, IT, Broadcast and Hospitality Management systems.
They have developed more than 200 projects over their 12-year history for government institutions, educational and health care organizations, and corporate clients such as hoteliers, retailers, and international developers. In order to fulfil their expansion needs they require a highly skilled professional to assume the role of Project Engineering Manager.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be a seasoned professional in the area of project development and management, with several years of experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will also have a wide-ranging experience in successfully dealing with large construction contracts, preferably in the low current systems, or electro mechanical arena. Moreover, with an excellent reputation within this industry, your proven track record will include successful planning and site development. You will be responsible for managing all engineering projects and also the planning of weekly meetings; taking ownership of required actions and timely resolutions.
With an engineering degree and no less than ten (10) years proven experience in leading a team, you will be technically competent and possess strong leadership qualities. The ability to communicate effectively in English is a must.
