Job Purpose
The Sales Support Consultant is a key role in contributing to the growth of business within the Americas region, providing the essential sales support for the AVEVA Portfolio.
The consultant will have responsibility for the delivery of Presentations covering the AVEVA Portfolio anywhere in the Americas region or around the world.
Dimensions
* Demonstrate knowledge of the products and processes for which the job holder is responsible.
* Have a proven ability to perform the various tasks associated with the role.
* Elicit positive feedback from and/or establish a respected reputation among technical specialists both within AVEVA and among the user community.
Principal Accountabilities
* Deliver excellent, professional and knowledgeable services, both internally and to AVEVA’s customers.
* Provide AVEVA product sales support as required to customers in the Americas region.
* Work with members of the technical and sales team to help develop solution positioning and client proposals.
* Develop technical skills within the primary domain and into other AVEVA product areas to assist in the growth of the Sales Support team in the Americas.
Important Working Relationships
* Sales: Work with the sales team in identifying opportunities, providing technical support at all levels of customer engagement and responding to product support issues.
* Customers: Develop good working relationships with clients and always provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
* At least five years’ experience in the related industry sector.
* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant engineering or business discipline.
* Practical experience of the applications associated with process facility design project life cycle.
* Knowledge of the plant engineering, design, procurement, and construction business either from an owner-operator or engineering contractor background.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team.
* Willingness to travel within the USA and abroad to perform consultancy tasks.
* Good problem-solving skills.
* The ability to manage and handle multiple and possibly competing commitments simultaneously.
* Strong customer-facing skills with excellent presentation skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Eligible to work in the USA.
