Job Description

The LAE is responsible to perform maintenance activities and certification in accordance with his company authorization. The LAE are also responsible to oversee any maintenance performed on their designated aircraft.

Additional Key responsibilities:

Ensuring all maintenance performed on designated aircraft is coordinated and complete overview maintained. Ensure that all maintenance performed is to the highest standards and in accordance with relevant Technical Data. Ensure all aircraft documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure that all staff are guided and assisted to maintain safe and effective working practices.

Qualifications and Education:

* Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (ICAOII, EASA66 + GCAA).

Experience:

* A minimum of 5 years experience within Line Maintenance, of which 3 years in a similar role.

Training:

* Formal technical training in at least 1 Etihad aircraft types.

Knowledge:

* Excellent knowledge of Line Maintenance Operations
* Excellent knowledge of Aviation regulations (e.g. JAA, EASA, FAA and/or UAE GCAA)
* High standard of English language
* High standard of computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications)
